Dear Cyberduck,

Serious bug:
I was attempting to expand a zip file within Cyberduck in a directory but didn't have the right permissions (on a Ubuntu 16.04 system). However, when the error message popup displayed my entire Cyberduck froze... It was impossible to exit that screen or even to quit Cyberduck. Even a force-quit did not work. I needed to actually go into Activity Monitor and quit the process directly.

The message was an "Interoperability failure" with the following first few lines (the actual output was very long, but repeated itself):

"checkdir error: cannot create /usr/share/awstats-7.6. Permission denied. unable to process awstats-7.6/README.md.. checkdir error: cannot create /usr/share/awstats-7.6. Permission denied. "

I have fixed the permissions problem in the Ubuntu system, but I would like that Cyberduck handles such errors without freezing the app.

I'm running Cyberduck 6.3 on macOS 10.11.6 (El Capitan).

Thank you for your help.

M. Williams

In Ubuntu I have no problems: I use gFtp... It is with mi iMac and MacBook where I have problems...
But Cyberduck used to work fine till the last update... Will this permissions issue be solved?
