Moin!

Martin

Unfortunately the vault format used in GMX Tresor is not interoperable with Cryptomator (albeit using the same implementation but adding deliberately a cryptographic pepper to make it incompatible).

Oh sorry, am I supposed to write in english?

I don't really understand much of what a pepper is, but when you search for "pepper", there is a match in C:\Program Files (x86)\GMX Tresor\app\GMX Tresor.cfg saying -Dtresor.pepper=gmx.

Maybe you can change Cyberduck in a way that one can enter or configure a pepper next to the password field of a Cryptomator folder?

Most likely this is the pepper used and we could add an option to enable the user to enter it alongside the passphrase input. Also we would need to add support for the renamed master key file systemdaten.gmxtresor.

Changes in c6f8bf7 to generalize the master key filename and pepper.
