I have a question about deleted Files / Folders in a Cryptomator vault.
I use Cyberduck in the latest version with a GoogleDrive Cryptomator Vault.
From time to time I delete files/folders that are not longer needed. So far so good.
When I enable the Function "Show Hidden Files" I see all the data I deleted.
The original file size can also be seen.
It looks like that the Files / Folders did not got really deleted. It looks more like
that a "Hidden" flag was set.
Over time the ammount of data will increase continuously and some people will run into a Full
Cloud Storage....
My question is if the Files / Folders will be really deleted at some point?
If not, how to delete the hidden files/folders to free up space on the Cloud Storage ?
Thank you very much in advance for an info!
best regards
Michael

By default files are trashed instead of deleted in Google Drive. Choose to empty the trash in Google Drive. The default behaviour can be overridden by setting the boolean property googledrive.delete.trash.
