Folders not appearing with versioning enabled for bucket #10605
Comments
I've reviewed the code but cannot find any reason for the behaviour you see. Does this happen for empty folders only? Is there any chance to post a screenshot of the AWS S3 console of such a folder with 'Versions -> Show' enabled? |
I will try to get a picture. In Cyberduck it shows some folders which should be hidden and hides some folders that should be shown. It seems to almost be some sort of looping bug where it gets out of sync. |
Ticket retargeted after milestone closed |
I have attached the image. if we unselect show versions the sub folders show up. |
Selecting hide should never show more items than with show versions - confused. Any chance to post another screenshot with show versions unselected? Thanks for your help. |
We have just released version 6.9.4 which contains a small bugfix for an edge case when working with versioned buckets. Can you please try this version and check if you still see this issue? If yes, I'm still interested in the screenshot mentioned. |
The new version is still having the same issue. I have attached the screenshot you requested. Let me know how else I can be of assistance. |
The folder is not displayed if it contains only objects where the latest version is a delete marker. |
In 10357 support for deleted files was improved.
Unfortunately it seems to have added a bug where some folders which are not deleted are hidden.
If I enable show hidden files I can go into it normally.
This happens on both windows and mac
