Support for pCloud #10608

It looks like they offer a WebDAV interface at (https://webdav.pcloud.com) which should work with Cyberduck. |
Replying to [comment:3 dkocher]:
Works for me. Thanks for the hint. R. |
Hi - were you successful with the webdav connection? I've managed to connect but opening large folders (containing image files) is slow and each folder has to be opened individually to index / show the contents, which is very slow. When I try to access the mounted drive folders using a third party viewing app it's too slow to open images. Getting frequent server disconnected messages. Thanks |
Replying to [comment:5 tryingit2312]: I have not been using pCloud for much local yet (currently as a backup for Dropbox and GDrive). The webdav connection worked for my purpose at the moment. pCloud will become my major backup and if I have difficulty with performance I will resort to use the free rclone application (command line - not too intuitive). Note for everyone reading here: the webdav interface does not work when 2FA is activated! R.

Thanks for the reply, rth10260, I'll check out rclone, it sounds useful, have been looking for a sync solution. I do actively use pCloud, either synced or as a virtual drive, which I find useful. That's what I was comparing to Mountain Duck. I wonder if it's possible to get Cyberduck support (@dkocher ?) to comment. Thanks |
This is old but I think there would be value in native pCloud support in Cyberduck / Mountainduck, for two reasons:
I truly would love to see native pCloud support🙏 Thanks and regards! |
+1 request for a native pCloud support in Cyberduck and Mountain Duck. WebDAV kind of works, but I would like to have support for the 2FA when logging in. Thank you for such great software! |
Really hope the pCloud support can be added to Cyberduck/Mountainduck soon Thank You |
Adding a vote for pCloud, though not sure what it'll gain... Don't want to come off bitter, but I'm certain pCloud is as much used as some of the protocols CyberDuck currently supports. |
Would also like to see pCloud integration. WebDAV without 2FA isn't ideal. |
CloudMounter now has a pCloud connection, not sure for how long they had it - when will we see it in cyberduck? |
Yes, please. pCloud support would be great. The WebDAV implementation is far from ideal! Please give us a feedback if it's being considered or not. Thank you! |
We sure consider this but don't currently have the resources and as pCloud is missing an OpenAPI specification the implementation is non trivial. We sure welcome pull requests. |
I am also interested in the support of Pcloud, knowing that cloudmounter allows it, there must be a solution? Thank you for listening |
I would love to see pcloud support as well! |
from the dates from previous requests and my own, I think we'll all be waiting a long time. |
Pull requests are open. |
my point still stands. |
Plus one from my side |
Keeping on eye on this one, also interested in pCloud support for Mountain Duck support |
+1 from my side. Would love to see native pcloud support. |
I am also hoping for pCloud compatibility on Mountain Duck! |
From me also a vote for pCloud in Cyberduck and Mountainduck 👍🏻 |
+1 for pcloud native support |
In search of an alternate to Dropbox but with European servers I came accross the Swiss Pcloud service (https://www.pcloud.com/).
The run their own API as defined at https://docs.pcloud.com/.
May I ask you to evaluate the inclusion of this interface into Cyberduck / Mountainduck, please.
Note: the opensource app "rclone" ("rsync for cloud storage") may offer some insights into the implementation.
Thanks and regards - Richard
