Unable to configure S3 access with MFA

Description

I'm attempting to configure S3 access with MFA, per the instructions here: https://trac.cyberduck.io/wiki/help/en/howto/s3#ConnectingusingAssumeRolefromAWSSecurityTokenServiceSTS

I've created an IAM role with full S3 access, created an IAM user in the same account and added an MFA device, created a policy to assume the IAM role, and attached the policy to that IAM user. When doing separate tests through the AWS CLI, the IAM user indeed can assume the role and get full S3 access.

However, when following the instructions on the wiki, the Cyberduck GUI does not connect to S3. It takes in the MFA code, then does nothing (no error results); then if I input another MFA code, I get an error about the MFA code being invalid.

Happy to provide more details, and would appreciate any guidance or help.
