Ah Ha! Figured out the issue. BitDefender is flagging the installer as containing 2 trojens. I'm going to assume these are both false positives and that you'll need to contact them to get the signatures adjusted so your software is no longer flagged?
In the meantime, disabling BitDefender allows for the install/uninstall/repair/upgrade process to work.
This morning I received a notice to upgrade from Mountain Duck 3.3.3.15387 to 3.3.4.15443
The upgrade failed with the message:
0x800700e8 - The pipe is being closed.
Now I cannot uninstall, repair, reinstall, upgrade Mountain Duck without getting that error.
Even the uninstall through windows 10 fails.
I've rebooted numerous times with no luck.
How can I fix this issue?
