#11175 closed defect (fixed)

AWS CloudFront and KMS settings ignore ~/.aws/credentials

Reported by: berlic Owned by: dkocher
Priority: high Milestone: 7.7.0
Component: cloudfront Version: 7.6.0
Severity: major Keywords: aws, s3, cloudfront, cdn, kms
Cc: Architecture: Intel

If S3 is configured with AWS profile from credentials file (as per, CloudFront CDN and KMS settings can't be configured.

When opening Distribution(CDN) or S3 tab of info dialog for a bucket, an error pops up "Cannot read CDN configuration" and "Cannot read AWS KMS configuration". Same on Windows and MacOS.

Generic S3 operations like reading and writing objects works ok.

~/.aws/credentials file is populated with temporary keys and token by saml2aws utility.
