I have my Google Drive disk mounted on an M1 MacBook Pro. When I try to open a file, it opens the correct application, but the application gives me an error that the file is empty. The finder extension is turned on as well.
It appears that the smart synchronization is not functioning on my computer to download the file upon opening. I have that turned on in the settings as well as indexing.
I can open a file if it is marked for Keep Offline on Local Disk.
Have I done something wrong or am I missing a step?
