I just updated and discovered to my dismay that the classic icon has been changed to a weird staring duck face that I just want to get rid of. So I figured I'd just try to replace the icon with the old one, but the problem is that it seems you've implemented the icon as some sort of hack for Big Sur only?

So the actual application icon in finder and when you have the application closed is still the old nice duck, only when you launch it the icon is changed the the yellow square face, which is strange in several ways. If you want to have a behavior where you have a different icon in finder and when the application is launched on Big Sur, please at least make this optional.

I see the same behaviour in Big Sur. However, I would prefer the new square icon – for both application states. Cheers.

I have the opposite opinion as tasssilo, I would prefer the old icon -- for both application states. Cheers.
