Using CyberDuck Version 7.8.2 (34203) with Catalina on an iMac. CD shows the file(s) as Word Documents, and downloads them as Word documents which Word then says are corrupt. When I view the file tree and download the documents it turns out they're actually pdfs. I closed CD and reloaded it, then checked the update button. This is the first time I've ever seen this -- otherwise very pleased with CD. I have a (small) screen shot you can see, if you like.

Cyberduck won't change your file extension. Please make sure that you don't change your file extension during rename.
