We use Dell ECS S3 and I have always used Cyberduck. I can connect just fine and see the files. However, I'm no longer able to adjust permission on the files. "Right click file --> Info --> Permissions." For example, if I wanted to grant Everyone Grantee the READ permission, it fails with the following error
Cannot change permissions of the GLDATA.dat.
Access Denied. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance.
See attached screenshot for error example.
I tested using S3 browser application on Windows and that works fine and I can adjust permission there. I would like to stick with using Cyberduck on Mac, but this error is giving me a lot of issues.
I cannot reproduce the problem. The error suggests that your IAM user does not have permission to modify the ACL for files in this bucket. Please refer to Testing IAM policies with the IAM policy simulator. Reopen this ticket, if you think this is a regression and you can modify the ACL using an older version of Cyberduck.
