Unable to create new folders on S3 buckets not in us-east-1 #11794

Can you confirm the IAM user has the permission |
I am unable to reproduce the problem. Can you please provide a full transcript.
|
I have confirmed that the IAM user does have Also, I have another computer that is still running 7.10.0 and is not experiencing this problem. It has the same AWS account and buckets, different IAM credential, but all IAM credentials are assigned to the same user group with the same permissions applied. Below are the transcripts from both versions doing the following steps (line breaks added for readability):
7.10.2
7.10.0

The log clearly shows the invalid request sent to the wrong region |
Strange enough I am not able to reproduce. |

Can you try to get us the debug log output. |

I just attached it. This is on 7.10.2 attempting to Get Info about the bucket and create a new folder. |
Sorry for the delayed response. I just downloaded the latest snapshot |
I have multiple S3 buckets in an AWS account. When I use Cyberduck to access those buckets, I'm unable to create new folders (using Cyberduck's New Folder action) in buckets that are not in the us-east-1 region. When I try to create a folder in the us-east-2 region, for example, I receive the following error:
-*Upload test_folder failed.**
I'm still able to upload files (and entire folder structures) to these buckets, but I can't create a folder using Cyberduck's "New Folder" action. This just recently stopped working. (Unfortunately, I don't know exactly when or if a Cyberduck update coincided with the issue.)
I don't believe this is an issue with my configuration or AWS credentials, as I've tried completely removing them and adding them from scratch. This is also happening on two separate computers (with the same AWS account, but different IAM credentials). Both computers are Macs, one on macOS 11, the other 10.15. Both are running v7.10.2. I downloaded 8.0.0 using the built-in updater set to Snapshot Builds, but the problem remained the same.
In addition, if I select any of my buckets and view Info (CMD+I), they all show US East (Northern Virginia) as the Location, even if they're actually in the Ohio location.
