I am running Version 2.8.1 (3290) on a range of macs Intel and powerpc with osx 10.4.11
I have transferred files to my server to be downloaded by a music client abroad via FTP. These files have spaces and a . in their name before the .wav
i e bodh 1 mix.L.wav
(The file name is automatically given when the file is created by a music program, Logic 7 when bouncing tracks )
when I check on my own server, to ensure that the files are there ( uploaded via Cyberduck), they are happily sitting there.
However, when I use Cyberduck to check that my client in U.K. will see what I see on my server, the files are not there. Now you see it , now you don't.
I know macs have a problem with dots . in the middle of file names when it comes to other apps Is this the same with Cyberduck? Any clues?
In the meantime I have completely renamed the file and it is there....
