The Cyberduck-2.8.1.dmg image was created with a GUID Partition Table and is not usable on PowerPC 10.3.9 machines. Since it is not a bootable disc, it should be created with an Apple Partition Map instead.

The workaround is to open the image on another machine and mount it or copy it across the network.

Should be resolved in 585446c. Meanwhile for the 2.8.1 release you can also get the zipped TAR file at http://update.cyberduck.ch/Cyberduck-3290.tar.gz
