Cannot access Cyberduck preferences

I just finished installing Version 2.8.1 (3290). This is the first update I've installed since June or July. The last update installed would not run at all. As soon as we (was updated on three seperate computers) tried to launch the app, it would load and immediately quit. We reinstalled the previous version and all was good.

This latest version appears to run, but as soon as I try to open the preferences, the app quits. Which of course means I am unable to set security, encoding and all that.

Hope this can be resolved soon.
