Using Jaguar 10.5.1 on macbook (Intel):

Connecting from a bookmark to a sftp host url:

  1. dragging a folder from that host to a desktop results in the FOLDER ONLY appearing on the desktop (it is empty) and ANOTHER COPY OF THE FOLDER COMPLETE WITH CONTENTS appearing in the "downloads" folder.

  2. dragging a single file from that host to the desktop appears to work properly, but seems to leave an additional copy of the file (with a cyberduck icon) in the trash, doubling the disk space required!

Both cases seem quite repeatable.

I cannot replicate issue (1). What you describe in (2) I can confirm that a zero based file created immediately after the drag completes is moved to the Trash (but not an additional copy). This is fixed in 480fe6d.
