I have uploading a large volume of data to a web server with CyberDuck using FTP set to "Active" mode (not passive). My host has told me that I am exceeding more than 300 simultaneous connections, and I am then my IP address is temporarily blocked by the server.

i can't locate any preferences in CyberDusk to specify less than 300 connections. I found a piece of java on your site named SessionPool.java which might achieve what I want to do, but I'm not sure what to do with this file.

You can limit the number of concurrent transfers. See the drop down menu at the bottom right corner of the transfer window.
