I reported this once before, but I notice it is not corrected in the new version.

Consistently

On MacBook Pro SRC with up-to-date Leopard 10.5.1:

After connecting to a home directory on a bsd server via an sftp based bookmark,
dragging a folder containing files from the Cyberduck window representing the home directory to the Desktop of the Macbook does not work properly.

TWO folders are created, an EMPTY one on the Desktop, and another one containing the files is placed in the designated download directory.
