My aim is to backup everything on my Mac (photos, documents, music files, etc.) to a server via ftp.
Unfortunately Cyberduck does not let me select photos from within the iPhoto library. It seems the duck does not want to open the iPhoto package and look within for files (pictures). Thus it is not possible to use Cyberduck to backup (sync) photos.
Would be great if you could have a look at this. Thanks and regards, Ivo.

I suppose you are referring to the 'Upload..' file chooser dialog. Use Command-Shift-G to enter the iPhoto Library folder name to let you navigate inside the package.
