I would like to translate Cyberduck into Arabic. I read the FAQ regarding translation, but I could not find a contact place for this inquiry.

The localization works as follows:

[1] Replace all *.strings files using the scheme

"Listing directory {0}" = "Arabic localization of the status message {0}";

where {0} is a placeholder for a variable put into the sentence at runtime (in this case, the denoted directory.

Make sure you preserve the UTF-16 character encoding of these files while editing.

[2] Send these files back to me by email. I will merge these strings into the NIB interface files and commit the localization to http://svn.cyberduck.ch/trunk/ar.lproj. This will take some more time as usual because I have to manually update the NIB files to use right-to-left writing direction.

Do you still have interest in doing the Arabic translation? I would be very happy to have one and support you!
