I have tried numerous times to upgrade my cyberduck to the new version but it keeps telling me I don't have permission from admin. I am the admin and have no trouble signing on.

Try the following steps

  • Copy the Cyberduck.app from the mounted disk image (white icon) to your Applications folder
  • If the update still fails try to repair the disk permissions using Disk Utility.app
