Very low speeds on FTP download/uplodas

Description

I connect on a regular basis to an sFTP server but cannot seem to get speeds higher than 70KB/s on downloads or uploads. I do not throttle my connection (which is an ADSL2+ 24Mb/s connection with a 1MB/s upload).

I was previously using FileZilla which could itself download with speeds around 800/900KB/s & upload around 80/90KB/s. I cannot for some reason get similar speeds with Cyberduck no matter how hard I try.

The kind of speeds I get with FileZilla with the same server.
