I am trying to make a copy of a directory of files from an FTP server to aid in testing a database about those files...
Using Cyberduck I have not been able to do this.
If I try to copy the files (mirror to a local disk; mirror because the source folder keeps changing) I have to keep starting the process again and again because it never finishes. Even when I try to copy separate subfolders it almost never completes he transfer...
Trying do do a straight copy (assuming that is more simple to accomplish) also does not complete.
Also, any transfer, as long as they actually work, are very slow. I am working from a home office with a 10 Mbit/s download (1Mbit/s upload) and in various test with high speed servers I can usually download data at close to 1 GByte per 15-20 minutes.
Any idea why the transfers don't complete?
Thanks in advance,
Hans Besjes
