On a second synchronize operation, the files placed onto the remote server are 'newer' and thus overwrite 'older' files locally. The files are the same size, as the local files have not been changed for quite some time. The files should still keep their meta-data which tells the computer when they were created, etc. so CyberDuck does not need to transfer extra hundreds of megabytes, as well as erasing the true created-on date.
