Here's what happened:

  • Upgraded to Cyberduck 3.0.2 yesterday from 2.6.2
  • Bookmarks were preserved, history showed previously transfers as complete.
  • Connected to a new site and began upload of 692 jpeg images amounting to about 30MB via standard FTP. Left it going overnight.
  • This morning, the transfer was marked as incomplete, saying that only 19 of 30 meg had transferred.
  • Checked the site and found that all 692 files had indeed been uploaded.
  • The files listed in History for this transfer all had check marks by them, and all 692 files were accounted for.
  • Curiously, every one of the previous transfers listed in History -- to several sites over a period of months -- were now marked as incomplete! Just prior to initiating my first transfer with 3.0.2, all these previous transfers had been marked as complete.
  • After quitting and relaunching Cyberduck, History still shows all transfers as incomplete. However, the amount transferred for the latest upload shows as '0 B of 0B' rather than the '19 MB of 30 MB' it showed before I quit and relaunched.

Something fishy is going on here! Is this a bug, or have I got some corruption in my Cyberduck installation?

New transfer should have correct completion status.
