having problems with unlock keychain #2538
Comments
Are you sure the password entered is correct? Cyberduck does not save the password in the keychain as long as the servers did not accept it. |

absolutely sure. it is possible it is asking for a password different than the one I'm giving. it could be likely. I've been assuming it's asking for the user password for mac (the one required when installing an app) |
No, that will be another password. Please contact your hosting service provider. |

it's not the pword for the ftp connection, it is the password Cyberduck is asking to access my keychain. |

By default this is the same as the login password for the login.keychain (The keychain unlocked by default when loggging into OS X). But you may have changed it as this is possible using Keychain.app. This is not a Cyberduck issue; as close this ticket therefore. |
Hello, I've been using Cyberduck for a while without problems. Recently it started asking for my password everytime I want to do an upload or login to ftp. When I type the correct password it fails. I just downloaded the latest version to see if that would fix it, but still the problem.
Please let me know possible solutions.
Thank you,
Seth Mulvey
