hi there
i just recently got my mac pro
today i got my cs3 creative suite
on my pc i was working for a very long time on my web-page (dreamweaver cs3)...uploaded the web-files with FileZilla...NEVER had any problem...none...
so today then i got the cs3 suite with dreamweaver - all for the macintosh...
i started to import the files into dreamweaver on the mac, changed a few things, used cyberduck to upload the files...everything worked fine...the preview, before the upload, looked normal...
after i uploaded a few files and wanted to view the pages on the browser, did not matter if firefox on the pc or mac, or safari, or opera, even a different pc that is in the house here, the online-versions from the new uploaded files brought me a 404/403 error-message, saying i had no rights to view the pages...
i had not idea why this would happen or what caused it...
so i went back to the pc where i also had the files...there they were in the status without any of the changes that i made on the mac...
i used FileZilla on the pc to upload the files, overwrote the mac-version-files, but it did not change anything...
the 404/403-error started right after uploading with cyberduck...
i loaded the newest version...
so i contacted the host, www.hostmonster.com, told them about the error, it took them 5 seconds to fix it..., they said some kind of rights/permissions where changed in my folders...
i have no idea how i would be able to change any of these rights, i don´t know what rights and where to find them or how to change them...
but it all happened right after i uploaded with cyberduck...
there is not more that i can tell you...
below is the original reply from the hostmonster-support:
i know that cyberduck is used A LOT by mac-users and i never had problems with it before...
i can´t say if cyberduck caused the error but still thought i would write you about it...

Dear Customer,
the issue has been fixed. Looks like you had some permissions in your account that were set incorrectly. Let me know if this has been resolved on your end. Thank you.
