Hello,

I have been using cyberduck for 3 years already and had never encountered this problem before, I was only trying to connect to old ftp address I normally go to, I tried all the address in my bookmark all encountered the same problem:

Malformed reply from SOCKS server

I don't really understand how this could happen.
I have just recently change my modem to ADSL 2 could this be affecting cyberduck?

You have specified a proxy server in your System Preferences (Network section) which is probably invalid.
