Currently when you select "Duplicate File..." a dialog box arrives that has a predefined new file name of (for example, if the original was index.html): index (9:16:09 5:52 AM).html and the entire suggested filename is highlighted.
A useful enhancement would be a new option in the application preferences that allows you to set a custom default format for duplicated file names. For example, it would be nice to set the date/timestamp to come at the front of the filename or even after the extension...or to set a different timestamp with more or less date/time detail or with alternative date/time separators (instead of the colons and spaces).
Such selection could be made like ORIGINALFILENAME.ORIGINALEXTENSION.yyyymmddhhmmss Where the user could select where to place the original filename and extension, where to insert the date/timestamp and what format the date/timestamp would have.
