After opening a connection the number of files is being displayed in the status bar. Opening a subfolder (with files in it) the first time doesn't change the number of files. However after closing and reopening the same subfolder the number of files now is updated correctly. It looks like the counter takes the number of files from the cache (before opening and adding/counting the newly fetched files).
