It seems that cyberduck saves the icon inside the files it downloads, replacing the "system" one.
A normal 4Kb .php file takes around 160kb because of the hard-coded icon.
If the icon is deleted from the file (info of the file, select the icon, remove the icon with backspace) then the hard-coded version is deleted and the linked one appears (the same aspect, but doesn't take any space).
