Mister Mike created the issue

When downloading files or folders with files from my hosting server, almost every php file is at least 193KB in size. It even seems that html files or images are slightly smaller (150-180KB)

Those files contents are correct, but the result is huge data size. When copying these files around the data size is retained. Only using "save as" can resurrect the correct size.
