I am doing SFTP on a LAN. It's upload speed is only around 300Kps+- and it should be 8mb/s. I have preferences set to Unlimited on up and download.

Is there any reason it should be throttled like this. BTW when I try the same transfer with Fugu it transfers at the speed I would expect (8mbs+-).

thx

Duplicate for #12134. Choose SCP for file transfers in the SSH Preferences tab.
