Edited file not uploaded after save #5376

When I try to edit on the server on the Windows version the file is not uploaded after saving.

What I'm doing

  • Double click the html file to open in my editor
  • Make some edits
  • Save the file
  • The save file dialog opens and I save the file in the same directory that the dialog opens in
  • There is no activity on the transfer window after I save and I double check the source of the file on the server and it hasn't been updated.

I'm using Dreamweaver and the server is Webdav.

I've got the same problem here. Different OS (Vista) and different editor (E Text Editor) though.

I can replicate the issue. As a workaround, disable Atomic Save in the settings of E Text Editor.

Please check if there is an option to disable Atomic Save or Create backup file when saving or similar in the Dreamweaver settings.
