issues with password

I created a Cyberduck account for work just over 3 years ago, but haven't used it since. I now would like to download some files from a new job and it seems impossible for me to change the user name and password. I've tried to change my user name and password on the Cyberduck website, moved and emptied the Cyberduck application to trash to emptying the trash folder, to downloading a new Cyberduck application. Still, when I try to download a file, it goes automatically back to my old account where I've forgotten my password.

I have a Mac OS 10.5.8

Any thoughts please?
