I tried to download the whole content of the html-folder of a my ftp-server (around 370 MB). I got the following error for a lot of them:
Unsupported record version Unknown-48.48
It only transferred 290MB of it.
FileZilla was able to transfer everything without any issues.

- Resolution set to thirdparty
- Status changed from new to closed
I suppose this is a bug in thirdparty software such as vsftpd referenced in #1272. Workaround is to use a plain FTP connection or fix the server.
