GUI for s3 reduced redundancy better but still does not describe status when info for an object is queried. Comes back as storage class unkown.

Likewise ACL (apologies if this should be another ticket) Does not display properly and does not maintain ACL settings. No "OK" button or feedback that new ACL uploaded.

Replying to [5473 amk]:

GUI for s3 reduced redundancy better but still does not describe status when info for an object is queried. Comes back as storage class unkown.

If the object is not a directory placeholder, then the storage class should be displayed. For directory placholder, the storage class is displayed when changed and applied to all objects below that path.

Likewise ACL (apologies if this should be another ticket) Does not display properly and does not maintain ACL settings. No "OK" button or feedback that new ACL uploaded.

There should be no black entries like on your screenshot but all available options to select. Changes take effect when the selection is different from a previous value. No apply needed.

Please reopen if there are still usability issues even with the explanation given.
