By default, Bonjour service is installed.

The installer should offer the choice to install it or not.

Some notes on this:

  • The version installed is the open source ZeroConf implementation mDNSResponder also known as Bonjour.
  • You can always uninstall the component in the system settings.
  • When not installed, discovery of services in the local network will yield not results.

Will see if we can add a checkbox to the installer.
