I have this effect since several weeks: Syncing a local folder with Upload to a server, zeros several files on the target (but not all). Deleting the resulting mess on the server and uploading the whole source works fine. So somehow the syncing is broken.

My guess: overwritten files are kept somewhere and eat up space on the server. So may be need twice the space if I want to sync?

Seems to be even worse:

  • Files are also truncated to something > 0

  • Happens also if just uploading (with overwriting existing files)

Info: Workaround was, to delete the whole target and upload all files again. Target was 90% full with quota of 22000 kB after upload.

Cannot replicate, possibly a duplicate for #5794.
