One of the reasons I really like Cyberduck on OS X is that I can directly edit any file with TextWrangler and have it updated in real time. It even allows me to use TextWrangler if the file is associated with another application-- which is useful for filetypes like .html where the default association is a web browser.

In the Windows version, on the other hand, the list of editors is strictly populated with those that are defined in Windows file associations, without the ability to specify another default editor globally within Cyberduck. The good news is that it's possible to see other associations than the default, so programs which do have an "edit" action defined can take advantage of that. However, there's no way to, say, edit a .sh file with Notepad++ unless it's already been associated with that application-- nor is there any way to open a file with an editor that's not associated in Windows.

There should be an option in Cyberduck to add an additional global editors that can be used on any file, as with the Mac version. I really don't want to have to add Windows associations for every obscure Unix extension I can think of.
