Are the FTP passwords saved as plain text or are they encrypted on a local machine (using a pc and not keychain on a mac). The reason I ask is because I have recently suffered the virus that attacked the plain text passwords that Filezilla saves in an XML file. Hopefully Cyberduck saves it's FTP account passwords safely.

On Windows, passwords are encrypted using your login credentials.
