Description
When performing a synchronize on a folder via FTP, some of the files show up as needing synchronization when their timestamps are identical. The reported difference in timestamps shows a remote timestamp that is rather unusual. For example, in the attached screen shot:
- Local file shows modify date of May 31, 2011 6:40pm
- Remote file in Browser shows modify date of 5/31/2011 6:40pm
- In the Transfers window, the remote file shows a modify date of February 15, 0213, 12:07:40 PM GMT-05:32:11
As this is a FTP transfer, I was careful to set the timezone for this bookmark. Given that the Browser modify dates match up with my local dates (after a download), I'm confident that this configuration option is correct. Preserve modification dates is enabled for both upload and download. Before I did this sync, I did a full download of the remote directory, which should result in a sync with nothing to do.
It is a bit perplexing.
The remote site is on a 1and1.com server.
