Install failed- latest version 4.1.2 on Mac #6250

005686c created the issue

I was using the previous version and received a message to update to 4.1.2. I selected Install and Relaunch & when I did so the app crashed (would not open). So I re-loaded a backup I had made, and everything was fine. I am running Mac OSX v. 10.6.8

Can you find any related output in the system.log (/Applications/Utilities/Console.app)?
