When uploading files via cyberduck on to UC Berkeley's course maintenance site (bspace), I've come across the issue of pdf files being uploaded as xpdf files. I've found that the source of this issue was indeed cyberduck. Why does this happen and is there anything that can fix it? I have to present this project to the EECS staff next week, so a speedy reply would be nice. Thank you very much.
P.S. The issue occurs with multiple computer using either mac or windows 7
