Came accross one hosting provider (ftp.kontent.com) where Cyberduck does display hidden files despite. The files are visible when using another ftp client (i.e. Filezilla).

Yes, the box "show hidden files" (or whatever the correct translation is, since I'm using the German translation), IS ticked, and hidden files ARE shown correctly when connecting to other servers.

From the screenshot I guess that the server is not returning hidden files in response to STAT. You can disable the use of STAT by following the directions here.

Please report the bug to the server vendor that STAT should return the same files as in LIST.
