Cyberduck won't open

Description

I have used Cyberduck for almost 4 years. All of a sudden the program will not open--as others have asked in other tickets--without a clear answer as far as I have seen--I click on it, the duck icon bounces a few times and then stops without opening the program. I have Mac OS 10.6.8, and did recently need to re-install the system, but I am not sure whether the problem with Cyberduck started before or after the syastem reinstallation.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

After writing this, I did find an earlier ticket which solved the problem--you need to update Java on the software update, and that seems to solve the problem.
