Hello,

I used Cyberduck to access to my ftp server. It's Gene6 FTP Server running on Windows XP Pro. This server is UTF-8 compatible, actually when I use Windows UTF-8 clients like SmartFTP, Unicode works (tested with Japanese & French filenames). It doesn't work with Cyberduck, I get question marks instead of the correct characters. Looking at the logs, it seems that Cyberduck doesn't send the following command when connecting : "OPTS UTF8 ON". I guess that without this command the server doesn't switch to UTF8 encoding.

You can change the text encoding Cyberduck should use by default in the Preferences and for every browser in menu View > Text Encoding.
