This issue is with the installer of Cyberduck 4.2.1 rather than the program itself.
I was running Cyberduck 2.7 on MAC OSX 10.4.11
Cyberduck asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the latest version (4.2.1)
I followed the onscreen instructions to complete the upgrade.
Version 4.2.1 of Cyberduck is NOT compatible with MAC OSX 10.4.11, however the installer either failed to, or was not properly programmed to verify the environment.
I re-installed the older version, however, now all 100 plus of my FTP site passwords saved in my Keychain are no longer linked to the new installation of Cyberduck, and I'm not sure if there is a way to make Cyberduck re-connect. Otherwise, I no longer have a way to easily retrieve the lost information.
If the writers of the installer and program have somewhere written that end users should examine their compatibility before upgrading, then it should also be a warning sign on the installer, or the installer should check. It is a major drag and HUGE loss of time to deal with this (exactly when I'm in a hurry of course). I have been using Cyberduck happily for a long time, so this interruption is very unwelcome.

PS - I LOVE that the pull-down menu on this ticket form does not include my OS version number

We display a warning message in red to warn about the requirements in the update message. We have dropped support for 10.4 back in 2009 with version 3.3. I understand this is somewhat frustrating to you but we have to move on.
