With the new iCloud features it would be easy to sync the bookmarked FTP sites across multiple machines. Currently I'm using Dropbox with a symlink to ~/Library/Application Support/Dropbox, but it conflicts often - especially when Cyberduck is running on both machines at the same time.

Please, this is a cross platform product, why not simply implement bookmark/account sync using a platform chosen by the user, could be iCloud, Dropbox, Box or Google Drive

+1. I agree with schack that support for a choice of cloud platform would be ideal. Similar to the functionality available in Panic's Transmit product.

It is possibly more interesting to use Dropbox App folder to allow sharing bookmarks between Mac & Windows.

Please just sync bookmarks with icloud.

To sync bookmarks with icloud:

  1. create a folder in icloud drive and name it "Cyberduck"
  2. move the "Bookmarks" there (to find the folder, see step 3 here
  3. use the following command in terminal:
    ln -s ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Cyberduck/Bookmarks ~/Library/Group\ Containers/G69SCX94XU.duck/Library/Application\ Support/duck/Bookmarks
